Interpreting Wellington's iconic brewery for digital audiences

The Idea
Overview
Wellington brewery Garage Project had already established themselves as a market disruptor with iconic visuals and growing fanbase but their digital presence was severely disconnected from the wider brand and becoming a liability.
Our role was to take what was working offline, re-imagine it for digital contexts and ultimately rebuild their online store. GP had an incredibly eclectic visual identity with each product essentially acting as a sub brand, leaning into this we took inspiration from art galleries and exhibition spaces, stripping away all but the most essential design elements to allow full expression of each product.
The project resulted in a substantial 41% year-on-year increase in online sales post-launch and adoption of the digital design language in the broader Garage Project brand identity.
