An Immersive campaign microsite and full re-design of the Whittakers storytelling website

The Idea
Overview
As New Zealand’s most trusted brand for over a decade, Whittaker’s required an online presence that was luxurious, evocative and personal, just like its chocolate. A delicate balance needed to be found between leveraging the brands rich legacy, being a hub for their raving fans and a one stop resource for product data.
A key requirement of the project was communicating Whittaker's sourcing and sustainability credentials to consumers. The answer was to separate this journey into a standalone campaign microsite 'Beans to Bar', taking the user through a lush journey of the full chocolate making process. We utilised a mix of illustration, photography, video 2D and 3D animation to show customers the care and craft that goes into making every product.
The project resulted in a 50% increase in visitors, a 40% rise in engagement and significant growth in traffic.
